MGP High-Flow Air Filters
Since our humble beginnings, we've developed and manufactured over 2,400 high-flow air filters for most modern cars and over 500 for vehicles driven by passionate enthusiasts. We don't just offer the widest range of applications, but we also pioneered the high-flow category and the technology behind it.
The MGP FilterCharger air filter is designed to provide high, virtually unrestricted airflow while maintaining the critical filtration levels needed for long engine life. Our OE (Original Equipment) replacement air filters for cars typically increase horsepower by 1-4 HP.
The secret to our success lies in the unique properties of our air filter medium, which was originally developed by MGP years ago in the heat, dust, and sweat of desert motocross racing. We simply wanted to win races and stumbled upon a cotton filtration technology destined for greatness. Our high-flow cotton gauze air filter is washable, reusable, and built to last the lifetime of a car or motorcycle engine.

Engine Protection and Filtration
Anyone can allow more air to pass through, but the trick is doing it safely. We believe we've hit the sweet spot ? the optimal balance of high airflow, filtration efficiency, durability, and dust capacity.
Our MGP air filter medium has been tested internally and by independent laboratories to the ISO5011 standard set by the Society of Automotive Engineers. We also test many of our filters both inside and outside the OE airbox to ensure proper fit and function. Our goal is to create filters with maximum possible airflow while ensuring engine protection.
The Role of Oil
Each MGP air filter consists of 4 to 6 layers of cotton gauze enclosed between two epoxy-coated aluminum wire screens. The cotton is treated with a specially formulated oil, creating a tackiness in the microscopic fibers that enhances its filtration capabilities.
Unlike many other media, our cotton maintains a balanced performance between airflow and filtration throughout the filter's lifespan without sacrificing either. With an MGP air filter, there are no compromises.

Safety instructions for handling exhaust systems
- Heat warning: Exhaust systems become extremely hot during operation. Avoid contact with the system immediately after operation as there is a risk of burns. Wait until the system has cooled down completely before carrying out any work on it.
- Risk of injury: When dismantling, installing or repairing exhaust systems, there is a risk of injury from falling components or the use of tools. Use suitable protective gloves and safety goggles.
- Avoid inhaling exhaust fumes: Exhaust gases contain harmful substances such as carbon monoxide. Only work in well-ventilated areas or use extraction systems to prevent the accumulation of exhaust fumes.
- Take care when lifting: If the vehicle needs to be lifted, use suitable lifting equipment and secure the vehicle with jack stands to prevent it from falling.
- Fire hazard: Ensure that there are no flammable materials (such as oil or fuel) near the exhaust system, as these can be ignited by the heat.
- Use suitable tools: Only use suitable and intact tools to prevent damage to the exhaust system and injuries.

Our exhaust systems are manufactured according to customer wishes and specifications. They are not stock items (stock items are marked accordingly and cannot be adapted, changed or configured), but are manufactured individually according to customer wishes within the production possibilities.

However, silencers, manifolds and exhaust systems are not mass-produced goods, but are lovingly hand-welded, polished, manufactured and refined by experts according to your wishes and specifications.
