  • Titanium Finish: is a design effect to give the stainless steel a Titanium structure and look. Discolering might be possible under heat. Titanium Works Finish takes on a unique coloring after it goes through a heat cycle on the motorcycle that looks much like those titanium works components.

  •  Carbon: the super light material Carbon fiber reinforced plastic, also known as carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP), also shortens carbon fiber, carbon or carbon, is a composite material in which carbon fibers are embedded in a plastic matrix.

    The matrix serves to connect the fibers and to fill the spaces between them. The material epoxy resin is usually chosen as the matrix.

     

    Carbon is only heat-resistant to a limited usage. *

     

    Speed Products has therefore developed thermal insulation that protects the carbon from the inside against the hot exhaust gases.

    We have christened this proprietary development RI Carbon: Reinforced Carbon.

    However, for reasons of durability and of course considerable weight advantages, carbon is only recommended for racing.

    The Carbon Structure might be different which each delivery.

     

    For a durable use in normal road traffic there are better materials, such as the stainless steel( 0,7mm) developed by Speed Products, which is also very light.

     

     Note: Carbon is only conditionally heat resistant and loses its gloss with use. However, this does not affect the stability of the carbon material.

     

    * * No holders/brackets can be welded to carbon shells and carbon muffler shells. A super light and very durable alternative are Speed Products stainless steel shells in Mattblack Ceramics in 0.7mm wall thickness.

     

    * Carbon shells and carbon muffler shells cannot have laser logos on them. We use appropriate heat resistant decals/stickers and/or 3 D nameplates. For sizes, please refer to the corresponding options.

    Again, a super light and very durable alternative are Speed Products stainless steel sleeves in Mattblack Ceramics in 0.7mm wall thickness, on which the laser logo can be applied. For sizes, please refer to the corresponding options.

All of our high temperature Ultra Performance Coatings are stable up to 1.100°C. Our high temperature line consists of two high quality formulations, the Ultra Performance Satin Metallic series. Available in several metallized finishes, these coatings will not only give an attractive look but also works as a perfect thermal barrier that increases performance and horsepower by increasing heat scavenging during the exhaust cycle. Safety instructions for handling exhaust systems

  • Heat warning: Exhaust systems become extremely hot during operation. Avoid contact with the system immediately after operation as there is a risk of burns. Wait until the system has cooled down completely before carrying out any work on it.
  • Risk of injury: When dismantling, installing or repairing exhaust systems, there is a risk of injury from falling components or the use of tools. Use suitable protective gloves and safety goggles.
  • Avoid inhaling exhaust fumes: Exhaust gases contain harmful substances such as carbon monoxide. Only work in well-ventilated areas or use extraction systems to prevent the accumulation of exhaust fumes.
  • Take care when lifting: If the vehicle needs to be lifted, use suitable lifting equipment and secure the vehicle with jack stands to prevent it from falling.
  • Fire hazard: Ensure that there are no flammable materials (such as oil or fuel) near the exhaust system, as these can be ignited by the heat.
  • Use suitable tools: Only use suitable and intact tools to prevent damage to the exhaust system and injuries.
  • Schutzausrüstung tragen: Wear suitable personal protective equipment (PPE) for all work, such as work gloves, safety goggles and, if necessary, hearing protection, to prevent injuries.

Our exhaust systems are manufactured according to customer wishes and specifications. They are not stock items (stock items are marked accordingly and cannot be adapted, changed or configured), but are manufactured individually according to customer wishes within the production possibilities.
The following applies: according to Section 312d Paragraph 1 No. 1 of the German Civil Code, there is no right of withdrawal for distance selling contracts for the delivery of goods that are manufactured according to customer specifications. Please also read further information on the right of withdrawal and the general terms and conditions. However, since exhaust systems are handmade, delivery delays can occur for certain systems. However, silencers, manifolds and exhaust systems are not mass-produced goods, but are lovingly hand-welded, polished, manufactured and refined by experts according to your wishes and specifications. We endeavour to keep delivery times as short as possible.
