  • Carbon: the super light material Carbon fiber reinforced plastic, also known as carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP), also shortens carbon fiber, carbon or carbon, is a composite material in which carbon fibers are embedded in a plastic matrix.
    The matrix serves to connect the fibers and to fill the spaces between them. The material epoxy resin is usually chosen as the matrix.

    Carbon is only heat-resistant to a limited usage. *

    Speed Products has therefore developed thermal insulation that protects the carbon from the inside against the hot exhaust gases.
    We have christened this proprietary development RI Carbon: Reinforced Carbon.
    However, for reasons of durability and of course considerable weight advantages, carbon is only recommended for racing.

    For a durable use in normal road traffic there are better materials, such as the stainless steel( 0,7mm) developed by Speed Products, which is also very light.

     Note: Carbon is only conditionally heat resistant and loses its gloss with use. However, this does not affect the stability of the carbon material. Carbon might have different colour shades and nuances.

    * * No holders/brackets can be welded to carbon shells and carbon muffler shells. A super light and very durable alternative are Speed Products stainless steel shells in Mattblack Ceramics in 0.7mm wall thickness.

    * Carbon shells and carbon muffler shells cannot have laser logos on them. We use appropriate heat resistant decals/stickers and/or 3 D nameplates. For sizes, please refer to the corresponding options.
    Again, a super light and very durable alternative are Speed Products stainless steel sleeves in Mattblack Ceramics in 0.7mm wall thickness, on which the laser logo can be applied. For sizes, please refer to the corresponding options.

Temperature stable to over 650°C, Black Velvet offers very good corrosion protection, as well as optimum flexibility on all base materials. The Ultra Performance Satin Metallics are not comparable to conventional silicone products. Temperature stable up to over 1,100°C, our Ceramic Coatings are characterized by an optimal flex in combination with a hard and abrasion resistant surface. No calcification at constantly high operating temperatures, no cracking or detachment even at extreme temperature fluctuations. All of our high temperature Ultra Performance Coatings are stable up to 1.100°C. Our high temperature line consists of two high quality formulations, the Ultra Performance Satin Metallic series. Available in several metallized finishes, these coatings will not only give an attractive look but also works as a perfect thermal barrier that increases performance and horsepower by increasing heat scavenging during the exhaust cycle. Barracuda GP/EVO is available as: Slip-on/Bolton end pipes as replacement for original end pipes and complete systems 2in1, 4in1, 4in2in1 and 4in2. In round or oval shape, as combination of SS-VA and ultra-light Full Titanium silencers, in different short versions and lengths. The slip-on end pipes include the silencer with mid-pipe, mounting material and removable DB Killer*31. The round-shaped stainless-steel/aluminium silencer can be upgraded with different short lengths and sleeve materials, as well as containing a catalytic converter, for an extra charge. Other configurations are also available! Features: low weight, removable DB Killer*31, ultra-light hangers, corrosion-resistant construction, cylindrical, conical or round mid-pipes made of V2Aplus stainless-steel, high gloss polish finish, and securing by springs.
